In 1998, brothers Shep and Ian Murray removed their corporate suits for good, and began the wild adventure of crafting attire exclusively for preps. The Murray boys set their sights on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts — which happens to be one of the preppiest places on earth — and launched the Vineyard Vines label with 800 funky-printed ties. When they sold out their entire stock within one week of opening, they knew they had touched on something quite special.

We are huge fans of their now-classic Shep Shirts, which are perfect to throw on for a cool summer night or breezy day out on the water.
